Since Halloween is approaching, I need to start planning our Halloween party. I told the Clever Guy he could host a party this year with all of his school friends so I’m trying to come up with some fun Halloween recipes and decorations. Since the paper straws are popular, I purchased some but wanted to decorate them a little more.
I tried doing a straw search in the Cricut store and when I couldn’t find anything, I decided to make my own. It was actually pretty easy!
Now, if you are new to the Cricut machine, I want to encourage you to visit this post and pin it to read later. The Cricut is my favorite crafting tool and if you keep an eye on Amazon, you may find it fo a great deal especially during the holidays!
DIY Halloween Skull Straws
What you’ll need:
How To:
You can use the cut I created above or I’ll show you how to make your own!
Find this skull (or any image) in the image store. You’ll also need this circle image which you can find by searching for “circle frame”. After you find the skull, hide everything in that image except that black skull outline.
Once welded, you are ready to cut them! Place them over the straws. Every straw is different so you may have to shrink or blow up the cut a little.
