Meet the Pirate

My name is Sara and I am a mom of 2 fabulous kiddies who are 12 and 8.A little history: I am a former deal blogger who used to write at www.supersavingsense.blogspot.com. I started blogging over 3 years ago and as my blog grew, so did my ambitions. I found I couldn’t keep up with posting about deals as well as posting all of the ideas I wanted to share with the world.

After realizing I was more of a modern day Pirate, going through life in the cheap lane by making over thrift store finds and decorating on a dime budget, I created CleverPinkPirate.com. Here you will find my tips on living frugally along with some of my recipes, DIY projects, crafts, clever reviews and still a few deals. Little Guy is 8 and is the sunshine of my life. He’s always laughing and figuring out how things work. I look forward to his future in engineering

My Clever Tween who really is my mini me has got sass and a whole lotta drive for adventure. From everything from crafting to playing JV volleyball, she keeps busy with fun (and keeps mom busy too).
