Today I am sharing about our journey with Walmart Family Mobile, a sponsored opportunity provided by Collective Bias and it’s client. All opinions are my own.
A few weeks ago I told you about our journey with Walmart Family Mobile plan, the no contract mobile service for only $40. The Clever Co Parent had an awful phone and for some reason his service kind of stunk because we were never able to reach him all the time. So we were able to convince him to switch to this new plan and now we’re all happier. I can get a hold of him and so can the kids.
You see, we’ve had some development with Tyler as he’s progressed a little more with his sensory issues. Since his sensory issues have become more severe, he starts to panic and if we are not around (I.E. big sister is baby sitting or he’s at grammy’s) he develops a full panic attack. After trying to figure out how to work with him on this, I figured out a solution. Google Chat has been a great tool for me to communicate with my work, what if somehow I could set him up on that? Well I got out the tablet I don’t really use and set up Google Chat. Now, he can chat me AND his dad since we all have working and up to date smart phones. He loves the video chat feature, it really came in handy when I was out of town last week and then being able to loop dad in while he’s at work? Awesome. Before while he was at work we couldn’t even get our calls to go through!
Honestly we couldn’t be happier with the switch. Now dad is set up on a great phone and a service plan that works w/ a cheaper wireless plan payment, we can get a hold of him any time we need to and vice versa!
Of course the phone has also been helpful when someone ran out of gas this week and needed a little bit of help. However, I would hope if I were stranded that the Clever Co Parent would do the same for me. 🙂
We also took a trip to CA this weekend and the kids were able to talk to dad when they wanted to as usually, my phone was dead.
