Are you looking for inexpensive and easy rustic Christmas gift wrapping ideas? Rustic colors like brown and red along with plaid patterns are definitely on trend right now. These supplies will cost you less than $5 or even nothing! To start my rustic Christmas wrapping, I picked up some wrapping paper and washi tape at the Dollar Spot at Target! I also grabbed some things from around my craft room like stamps and twine. I also used my handy dandy crop-o-dile, I swear I use this tool for every craft!
Make your own gift tags out of kraft paper and the Cricut. You can stamp them, cover them in washi tape or distress them with ink. Attach the tags with a twine around your present for a quick decoration. DIY gift tags will only take you a few minutes to make and you can personalize them however you would like!
Tips for using ink stamps:
- Be sure to only press ink on the stamp and not the edges.
- If you get ink on the edges, simply wipe it off with a paper towel.
- Before you stamp your tag, blow hot air on it then put it down. This will ensure the ink won’t be dry when you put it down.
- Be sure to press down firmly when stamping.
Want an inexpensive gift wrapping idea? Take a brown grocery store bag, turn it around, cut out the bottom then you have FREE gift wrap! Wrap it with a large twine and attach a tag along with a cut piece of garland.
