I’m going to start this blog post with letting you know, I am not very good at painting my nails. I am in awe on Pinterest of all of those talented people out there that can make a mani into art work. Of course that means even though I love pretty nails, I don’t do my nails that often. I did do my nails recently for Halloween though and luckily, it was easy peasy!
I made these Skeleton nail decals with white polish, black vinyl and the Cricut Explore. The trick to nail decals on the Cricut is getting them to be the right size. You can see from my screen shot that I made them just a little over half an inch. Once you start making nail decals on the Cricut, it’s kind of hard to stop!
DIY Easy Skeleton Nail Decals
What you’ll need:
- White nail polish
- Black sticker vinyl
- Skull and bones cut from the Cricut
How to:
- Paint your nails white (or any other color really) and allow to dry. Add a second coat and allow it to set fully.
- Place the skull decal on your thumb with the bones on the other fingers.
- This mani is easy and takes less than 5 minutes, not including dry time of course.
What do you think? What nail decals would you create?
