The Halloween decorating is just about done at our house. I created these fun poison potion bottles for Halloween to add to our decor. Since this weekend we are going to have a kid friendly Halloween party, I thought these would be fun to display on the tables! I really like how easy these bottles were to make thanks to some food coloring and the Cricut. I bought these bottles at Ikea a couple years ago for less than $5.
I cut these chalkboard labels and skull & crossbones out on the Cricut Explore.
DIY Halloween Poison Potion Bottle Decorations
What you’ll need:
- Bottles with stoppers (I bought these from Ikea)
- White vinyl
- Chalkboard vinyl
- Metallic marker
- Water & food coloring
How to:
- Fill bottles with water and different colors for food coloring.
- Cut this skull out with your Cricut.
- Create a label on the chalkboard vinyl using the cut and marker feature on the Cricut.
If you haven’t used the write feature within the Cricut Design software, it’s extremely easy to use. I especially like it because my handwriting is awful. I would probably compare it to my 10 year old’s son handwriting, it’s that bad. So I appreciate this feature!
