If you are like me and you have older kids who take everything of yours or maybe your life is chaotic during the holidays, you may misplace things like scissors, tape etc for Christmas wrapping. At least I do. Then I find myself running all over the house trying to wrap up last minute gifts.
In order to help myself stay organized this holiday season, I created a DIY Christmas Wrap station. I organized pretty much everything I would need for wrapping gifts on one board! This is also great because I can easily move it from different rooms if I need to.
It all started with a corkboard bulletin board I bought for $10. Pay no mind to the blanket, it’s cold in my office =)
I started by covering all the edges with washi tape. I then took twine and started putting the rolls of wrapping paper on the board. I held the twine with push pins in the back. I then started adding everything else I needed like washi, ribbons and curling ribbon. I even tied a wrapping paper slicer on.
The nice thing about hanging it with push pins is that it is easily removable for when I need it or I can leave it there!
Just so you know, no patterned washi tape works well for making gift tags out of!
Hanging the sharpies all on one this way allows me to grab one when I need it. I can leave the cap on the twine or take the whole pen off!
How do you keep organized during the holidays?
