Clever Teen has a teacher getting married soon and she wanted to put together a present for her. Naturally, I decided to see what I could DIY. I had some blank canvas bags left over from OrientalTrading.com that we used for our Trick-or-Treat bags. I also had just purchased rose gold foil vinyl from Cricut recently which paired nicely with the makeup bag I found at Target. With these supplies, I created a Bride Essentials Kit!
The Cricut Maker definitely makes crafting easy and this project was cut in less than 60 seconds! I also used the Easy Press to adhere the vinyl to the bag.
Bride Bag Supplies and Directions:
- Cricut Rose Gold Iron-On Vinyl
- Grab the file for the bride bag here!
- Canvas Bags from OrientalTrading.com
To cut this file – be sure to mirror and set your Cricut Maker or Explorer to “mirror” then set the materials to Iron-on vinyl.
Put the plastic side down, then cut.
After the cut is finished, weed the unneeded vinyl.
Once the cut is weeded, cut out the hearts leaving the plastic intact.
Set up your cut the way you want it, then adhere the vinyl with an iron or Easy Press. If you use an Easy Press, be sure to reference the heat setting guide.
The kit includes an essentials bag for the wedding day. I found this bag in the Dollar Spot at Target for only $3!
Items for the essentials bag:
- Ibuprofen
- Mints
- Nail Kit
- Tissue
- Chapstick
- Lotion
I also included a tumbler with the word Mrs. cut out in holographic silver adhesive vinyl.
