Looking to bring some deliciousness into your breakfasts? These Cinnamon and Sugar Baked Donuts are absolutely divine! They have a cake like texture and best of all, they are baked and not fried! These would be paired perfectly with some coffee or your favorite OJ. Plus, enjoying a baked donut is a little bit better for your hips than a fried donut (wink wink). Donuts have always been my sugary enemy. I think when I was pregnant with the Clever Teen, I could easily eat a whole dozen throughout the weekend (don’t judge). I had to give them up when I went on my weight loss journey but I will still enjoy one now and again.
If you don’t already have a donut pan, you should invest in one. This one is under $10 on Amazon!

Tips for filling the donut pan:
- Don’t overfill or they may create a “muffin top. Fill about 2/3 full.
- Use a frosting piping bag or funnel to fill each spot. Because the mixture is so thick, it can be difficult to spoon.
- Be aware of your timing, the longer they cook the “harder” they will be on the outside. Stick a toothpick in to check if the inside is cooked all the way.
The great thing about this recipe is that you could easily top it with something else like frosting and sprinkles!
