I love making candy bark, it’s pretty much the easiest candy to make in the quickest amount of time. I made this trail mix chocolate bark recipe last week for my kid’s school’s teacher’s lounge. It’s pretty easy to make and only required a few things!
Recipe: Trail Mix Chocolate Bark
Time: 5 minutes to make, 1 hour to harden
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of chocolate candy coating
- 2 squares of white chocolate candy coating
- 1.5 – 2 cups of trail mix (I used a cranberry mix for something different)
- Cookie sheet covered in wax paper
Directions:
Melt the chocolate in a bowl according to directions, spread on cookie sheet covered in wax paper.
Once it’s spread flat, pour trail mix evenly throughout the chocolate.
Tap the cookie sheet on the counter so the mix falls into the chocolate.
Once cooled, pour melted white chocolate coating as a drizzle on the top of the candy bark.
Split, serve, enjoy!
