Pie season is here and I can’t wait to start the holiday baking season. I really don’t have a favorite pie, I like to say that I am a lover of all pies. Last year I bought one of these Nordic Ware Pastry Pops Press and I decided to take it out and finally make some cute pie pops. I’ve been on a S’mores cravings kick lately so I knew the first set of pie pops I wanted to make was the S’more Pie Pops. Plus, the pie press made this super easy.
S’mores Pie Pops
What you’ll need:
- Pie/Pastry Pop Press or Maker
- Pie Crust
- Marshmallow Creme
- Nutella or other spread
- Pop sticks
Simply layer the bottom of the crust on a cookie sheet then cut the circles with the bottom of the pie press. Cut the circles out then put the bottom ones on the bottom layer. Put a layer of Nutella on the bottom where the pie pop molds are. Then place a small spoonful of marshmallow creme on top of that and finish them by putting the top layer on the bottom layer. Place the sticks in between the 2 layers.
Press the mold down to press them and place them on a cooking sheet. Then bake them at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Enjoy! These would be great for a party or for snacks for the kids lunches.
