Root Beer Floats are one of the best treats during the Summer time. Yesterday I showed you how to create a delicious Root Beer Float Cupcake. What about a frozen Root Beer Float? I took out my ice pop maker and created these delicious Root Beer Float Popsicles! You only need two ingredients and they are made in less than 10 minutes if you have an ice pop or Zoku maker. Of course this also works for regular ice pop/Popsicle molds.
Ingredients:
- Root Beer (this should be free of carbonation, to make flat simply leave in open container and refrigerate overnight.
- Ice Cream (Vanilla or other flavor of choice)
There are a few things I have to note for this recipe if you are using an ice pop maker:
I did this and the top broke off. Now it’s actually been a year since I’ve taken this bad boy out so I thought well maybe it’s user error but someone pointed out the carbonated drinks/sodas don’t do well in these. But maybe I didn’t let it go flat enough so be sure to try that before creating these. Of course my kids didn’t mind about the top being broke off 😉
