Last week I hosted an Ice Cream Float party and I wanted to create a few delicious dessert options for my guests. I love cupcakes, but sometimes the fat content is undesirable. I wanted to make a Root Beer Float cupcake recipe that had the sweet factor but not all the fat factors so I created this lower fat cupcake featuring A&W TEN (which only has 10 calories per serving). Now, there are no cutbacks in the frosting (why would you want to ruin perfection) but it is so delicious and definitely tastes like a creamy root beer float.
