Did you know yesterday was National Peppermint Patty Day? And the day before was National Cream Cheese Brownie day? Oh be still my dessert-loving heart! I wanted to create a treat to celebrate both holidays and came up with this Peppermint Patty Cream Cheese Brownies recipe. It’s really easy when all you have to do is use your favorite brownie recipe and create a delicious cream cheese frosting.
PEPPERMINT PATTY CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
- 8oz Cream Cheese (at room temp)
- 1/4 cup Butter (at room temp)
- 1.25 teaspoons Peppermint Extract (Note, if you like a lot of peppermint flavor, add more.)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Batch of Brownies (Cooked (use your favorite recipe or cheat like I did and use a dark chocolate brownie mix))

Bake your favorite brownie recipe, cool. | |
Step 2 | |
For the frosting: Cream together all ingredients in a mixer on low then increasing to medium for approx 1 minute. | |
Step 3 | |
Cut brownies in half, add frosting in middle to create a sandwich look. |
