I love to bake (which is obvious) but I like to also find when I need to bake in a pinch, I rely on convenience especially during the holidays. Betty Crocker brownie mixes are easy to make and can easily be whipped up in 5 minutes and popped in the oven. They are great for parties or even as gifts! One of the great things about brownies is you can add flavored extracts to give them added flavor and it’s really simple to do! Today I made Betty Crocker Milk Chocolate brownies with mint flavoring.
Ingredients:
1 box of Betty Crocker Brownies Mix and ingredients needed to make them
1 tsp of flavored extract (if you use a pure flavor, use only a few drops, I used Wilton’s Creme de Menthe)
Directions, mix all ingredients together, bake and serve! After the brownies were done I sprinkled powdered sugar with my sifter onto the brownies. I then topped a piece with the caramel sauce I made : http://cleverpinkpirate.com/2011/12/14/caramel-sauce-recipe/
I’ve also done this with raspberry extract, very yummy! Just be careful to not overpower your brownies with flavor because you still want to enjoy those chocolatey goodies.
