Recently I received a box of the latest colors and style of Duck Tape! Imagine my excitement as I opened the box and found all of these amazing new prints. I just absolutely LOVE all of the prints that Duck Tape is coming out with. I was smitten with the mustaches and penguins, they are too cute! I was at Walmart the other day and they had Hello Kitty and even skull and cross bones. They also had local college logo Duck Tape too!
In my opinion, Duck Tape is one of the most inexpensive tools out there whether it comes to labeling storage boxes (like I have done in the bright pink color) to a simple craft like the one I did here: http://cleverpinkpirate.com/2012/05/15/diy-chevron-duct-tape-dollar-store-frame-desk-dry-erase-board/
Duck Tape is sold in stores for a great price at Walmart and Hobby Lobby (which I love because you can use an awesome 40% off coupon).
Kid’s Camp Set
I created an easy DIY Kids Camp Set with Duck Tape Rolls and Sheets for my daughter. This was so easy, I did most of it in bed while not feeling well and it took less than an hour. It would be a great project for a kid to do before camp!
The kit includes:
- Notebook
- Pen
- Flashlight
- First Aid Kit
I took these and made them into something FAB!
Notebook
The notebook was easy thanks to the new Duck Tape Sheets. I took a Zebra print sheet and laid it on the front to the back of a composition book, horizontally. I repeated the process on the back. I then took a strip of purple and covered the front and the back on the bottom of the notebook. Finishing with an “A” and a flower. I then took one strip from the Zebra print roll and covered the pen vertically.
Did you know you can load the Duck Tape sheets into your Silhouette or Cricket? It’s true, I cut the A and Flower on the notebook easily on the Silhouette. I used the setting: Adhesive Label with a thickness of 29.
First Aid Kit
I took an Altoid tin and layered it in the Paint Splash and Purple Duck Tape. I then put some bandages and first aid wipes and placed them inside. This would not only be a great camp kit but you could keep it in backpacks, mom’s purse or diaper bag or even the car!
Flashlight
This flashlight is just a regular LED light, covered in the Paint Splatter print.
Easy right?
