Last post for the Living Room Mini Makeover! Another easy makeover idea, taking a dollar store faux candle and cover it in sheet music and Sparkle Mod Podge! Pair it with a candle holder from Goodwill or the dollar store to make it that much better (or cheaper) of a project.
Project: DIY Sheet Music Candles
Supplies:
- Sheet Music (search eBay or local thrift stores)
- Flameless Candle
- Mod Podge (make it count, use the Sparkle kind)
Here is the how to:
- Measure and cut strips of sheet music according to the width of the candle.
- Take Sparkle Mod Podge and coat them strip by strip, then covering completely with Mod Podge until it is secure.
- Allow to dry
