Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirate’s Life for Me. As a self-proclaimed pirate, I had fun putting these Pirate Booty Party Favors together. I actually made these as part of a Fish Extender gift for our recent Disney Cruise. A fish extender is a small gift that you leave for someone else on the ship. Since I had tween boys in my Fish Extender group, I knew I wanted to do something pirate-esque! The fun thing about these gifts is you can use them for a Disney Cruise or as party favors for your next pirate birthday party!
I partnered with the Oriental Trading company to complete these Pirate Booty party favors. The great thing about the Oriental Trading is you can purchase large lots of party items for less money. Plus, The Oriental Trading company has so many fun options like all of these pirate goodies!
Here’s my supply list:
$2 bills and gold coins (you can get these from your bank, just ask)
On the outside of the box, I placed black vinyl cutouts of a Mickey pirate ship via the Cricut
What if you have extra party favors?
If you are headed on a Disney Cruise and have extras of any of your favors, you don’t need to package them. Just drop the single items in the Fish Extenders hanging outside of other guest’s rooms!
If you have any extras but aren’t heading on a cruise, some ideas to share them:
- Donate them to your child’s school for a “treasure box”
- Use them for your Geocache stash
- Keep them to make a Halloween Costume
- Eat the chocolate 😂
