Bananas are a great fruit because unless there is a freeze in the Winter, you can have access to bananas all year round. Our family loves bananas but sometimes I buy an abundance and there are too many to eat before they start to turn. The other day I started making things with ripe bananas and as I whipped up the bananas, I thought it would make a delicious banana smoothie. I was right! What’s great about this recipe is it reminds me of Orange Julius and it only has 3 ingredients. I’ve seen powdered banana smoothie mixes but there is no need for that when you have fresh bananas and milk available!
Banana smoothies are great for breakfast or as a refreshing drink during the day!
