I’ve longed to have beautiful photos to add to my blog posts like others do. I seem to know the basics on my DSLR and can take great photos outside of people and landscapes but when it comes to my crafts or food I find it’s really hard. I have been to workshops but can’t seem to get it down. So I went on a search on Pinterest to find articles on photagraphy tips.

Clickin Moms (a great site for newbies to professional photographers to unite regarding photography) shares 7 easy tips on photographing food including texture, lighting and close ups. Each tip has a beautiful photo too!

6bittersweets.com goes into detail about the SLR and using the appropriate settings along with lighting and styling tips. The article does talk about the mechanics but it seems like it’s pretty easy to follow.

TheBoogieBlog.net has awesome ideas and a good breakout of tips. These are food photography tips but can really be used in everyday photos.
My biggest enemy is getting my lighting just right. I have tried using artificial light and even bulbs that claim to be natural light. I have to just make something similar to the lighting set up as described by HandmadeSpark.com. This set up only cost around $12 and looks fairly easy to make.
