St. Patrick’s Day was always a fun day for me, growing up. I asked the kids if they still pinch for not wearing green at school and they said not really. Not really?! I always made sure I had green visible from head to toe and got a kick out of those who would forget to wear green and would run around on the playground from everyone. So, I still try to make it fun at home and make sure the kids have their green and I’ll make them a fun after school snack.
I love Lucky Charms cereal, mainly of course because of the marshmallows. Did you know that you can buy bags of just the lucky charms marshmallows? The bag would be perfect for fun recipes like this one. I made this fun snack mix with just a few ingredients. The salty flavor from the popcorn and the sweet flavor from the frosting and cereal make this snack mix irresistible. You can make this mix for a St. Patrick’s party or any fun event.

I found these cute strawberry baskets from the Dollar Spot at Target. I actually found a great deal after Christmas where they were 75 percent off!
