4th of July is just around the corner and while I don’t do a lot of decorating for this holiday, I do like to spruce of my mantle for the occasion! I actually lucked out with some fab decorations I found at the dollar store.
The “sparklers” are a DIY I did with star garland from the dollar store and silver tinsel also from the dollar store, wrapped on a wooden skewer.
I took 2 mason jars and painted them with a blue base, then did a light red base with acrylic paint for a distressed look.
This is actually a plain ole Styrofoam block with a Styrofoam plaster from Flora Craft . Painted with Chalkboard paint over it for a rustic look. This makes it easy to stick things into like the sparklers and American flag.
