I’ve always loved Big Surf waterpark, even when I was younger. This was the place to go because it was not too far and of course, it was a lot of fun. Fast forward a few years (eh hem yes only a few) to me having older kids of my own. As they grew older, I looked forward to when I could take them here. We started taking them to Big Surf last year and they love it.
Since the Summer is here and in Phoenix there really isn’t much to do outside, we’ll be spending a lot of time here this Summer.
So the Clever Guy isn’t much of a daredevil, he prefers the milder area for kids. He went on the tube slides probably 20 times and we hung out in the wading pool. What’s nice about this area is it’s not too crowded and they have shade in the water so the parents can just hang out.
Now the Clever Teen is my daredevil and she prefers the waves and the big slides. We went on a few of the tube slides and she did the enclosed tubes. I think I am a little too old for those now.

Oh hey, there’s me! So I never thought I would post a photo of me in a swim suit but here I am in my new bathing suit from Lime Ricki swim wear. It fits so comfortably and hides what I am self conscious about. I can’t even tell you the last time I felt comfortable in an actual swim suit!

We have never been to Big Surf, but I have two boys who love the water. My 8 year old will spend all day in the pool and on the slides, especially the fast ones. My two year old is new to water parks, but loves to be outside and in water. I’d love to win and take my boys, and my husband, of course.

I would love to take my children there! We’ve never been there, and we haven’t even gone swimming this whole summer. My son who would love to go there, because he has autism and he gets calm in water and it really helps him. And my other two children have been dying to go swimming. It would be fun for the whole family!
