I used to have a desire to make cakes but I then learned a love for cupcakes. So I got rid of most of my cake pans but kept a few for crafting. I came across 2 Christmas tree cake pans and decided to turn them into decor. This was easy but drying time did take a bit.
Time: 10 minutes of painting, 5 hours of dry time.
Supplies:
- Christmas Tree Cake Pan(s)
- Green acrylic paint, I used Liquitex Basics found at Joanns

Paint a coat of acrylic on the pan, let dry.
Paint a second coat, let dry.
Paint a layer of one step crackle over the painted surfaces, using a thin layer for smaller cracks or thicker layers for larger cracks. This paint will take about 3-4 hours to dry and show the crackle.
