Lemon Poundcake Recipe

      This lemon pound cake is perfect to serve at all Summer gatherings!
    
        
    Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter (room temp)
- 2 eggs (room temp)
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup lemon juice ((fresh squeezed works best))
- 2 cups flour
Note
This is a very dense cake, the longer you can let it cook, the better!
Directions

| Mix together eggs, sugar and butter until well creamed | |

| Mix in lemon juice | |

| Slowly stir in baking powder, baking soda and flour | |

| Mix in the sour cream and vanilla until well blended | |

| Bake for approximately 65 - 75 minutes at 350 degrees | |
