This week’s Thrifty Thursday is about Fabric! If you are novice sewer or a not-so novice sewer, thrift stores can be a great place to find fabric. Sometimes you can find yards and sometimes just enough to do a small project. I have bought a variety of fabrics to keep in my box to use for multiple projects. If you have a project you want to try out before doing it on expensive fabric, thrift store fabric can be a great deal. It’s also great for the child who likes to sew and you don’t want to spend a lot of money. I found enough fabric for my daughters curtains and have used fabric for backdrops in photos. For only a few bucks, it is definitely a cheaper alternative to the fabric store.
