This is an easy caramel recipe that you can make in less than 10 minutes. Serve warm over ice cream or cooled with apples.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Step 1 | |
Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. | |

On medium heat, stir in whipping cream and brown sugar. | |

Continuously stir over a medium heat for about 4 - 5 minutes. | |

Remove from heat, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and continue to whisk over low heat for 1 minute. | |

Pour in a jar and refrigerate. |
