Christmas is days away, it always comes so fast! I found myself doing some last minute decorating and was happy that I had some ornaments left over from my Sears shopping trip. I’m sharing some ways to do some last minute decorating that won’t take up a lot of time.
These peppermint pinwheels from Sears were under $2 and were a perfect addition to our Christmas table. These trains are decorated like gingerbread houses and have candy decorations on them to match. I hung the ornaments on the wall above the table using Command strip hooks that I also picked up Sears. The hooks can then be easily removed after the holidays.
Probably one of the easiest way to show off ornaments, especially if you find you have extra ornaments is to display them in a large bowl. I took a large glass bowl and just poured the ornaments in, decor in seconds! These ornaments were part of a large batch I bought at Sears, the are a wine and purple colored set. The set was under $5 and I love how shiny they are!
Another way to display ornaments in seconds is to hang them off of furniture, this one I placed on the top shelf of a book shelf. Mainly because I wanted to bring some purple into our decor and what better way than purple sparkly ornaments?! I also placed one on the opposite bookshelf because I love having things balanced.
I picked up some window hooks at Sears and used them to string some lights in my window, we decorated the yard but I thought it was a good way to give a Christmas ambiance inside and outside!
Got just a few extra ornaments? Place them on a gift bag! They make the gift a little prettier and makes an added gift!
What will you be decorating last minute?
