Summer is over, I am in Fall mode even if it is still 100 degrees here. I am sharing a new to me look for my eyes that I recently wore. I normally only wear brownish shadows but for this one, I incorporated some purple. Not an overly dramatic look but a cute look for day or night time.
Fall Makeup: Eyes
All of the items I used are from Target and Walmart ranging from $3 to $6.
The base of my eyes is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigment ~ Downtown Brown. Let’s talk about this for a minute. I am a huge fan of pigment shadows, especially as a base. I was disappointed this shadow didn’t have that rich color that others have like Loreal Hip. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, I didn’t feel like it lasted any longer than other pigmented shadows either.
Over the base/bottom of the lid is one of my favorites, it’s the gold from this Elf Eyeshadow palette. I think this shadow complements well with browns.
Over the line above the lashes is purple. Now this is a little different, usually I am all about the “browns” when it comes to shadows but I wanted to keep a little bit of Summer with me. So I used Amythest Dazzle from NYC Sparkle Eye Dust line. If you have seen some of my makeup posts, you know I love this line. Since I knew purple was a great compliment to brown shadow and brown eyes, I tried to put a subtle layer on but it really stood out. I liked it!
The mascara is Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara. I have mixed feelings about this, I think it’s a great mascara, I am just not sure it “flames” like it states.
So that’s it, easy to do makeup perfect for Fall!

You are beautiful! You have to teach me how to do eyes in person sometime – I am terrible at makeup!
