Sanity at Back to School Time w/ T-Mobile Apps and an HTC One S Phone Giveaway!
This week celebrates us being back in school for 1 month, woo how time flies! It seems the more in depth we get into the school year, the more I have on my plate. Between volleyball games, PTA meetings and my kids friend’s events life is hectic to combine with my own schedule outside of school!!
I’m actually able to have a little more sanity thanks to my phone and T-Mobile. I have an HTC droid and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve actually had HTC phones for years but the one I have now has been like my best friend over the past year. I just love the smart phone technology like syncing my Google calendar and email to my phone. Of course, the apps and T-Mobile features are pretty awsome at helping me keep my sanity as well.
T-Mobile FamilyWhere feature helps me stalk my daughter know where my daughter is at all times. This is important for a mom, especially as she wants to start having freedom to go to the mall with her friends (heaven help me).
Hopefully I am not the only one who misplaces her phone several times a day (I call it mommy brain) but why does it seem that I only lose my phone when the ringer is off or when no one is home for me to tell them to call my phone? It drives me crazy but I did learn about the Lookout app which finds my phone even with the ringer off! For me this is enough to use the app but it also checks there apps I download for malware and to see which ones try to access my personal information. This is important because my son loves to download free apps and use them on my phone when we are waiting for appointments or when he is bored at the Clever Tween’s Volleyball games.
Text text text text seems to be all my daguhter does sometimes, she’s worse than me! Good for me (bad for her), T-Mobile offers an options for parents to actually set limits on how many text messages she can get each month and even times the phone can work w/ Family Allowances w/ T-Mobile.
I kind of have some bad luck with my phones (we’ll blame it on mommy brain again). One time I dropped it in the dog’s water bowl. One time (no lie) I dropped my phone in cheese dipping sauce. I used to be upset because texts, photos and other info saved to my phone seemed to be gone but T-Mobile has options to do Mobile backups.
I just downloaded MobileLife Family Organizer which is made by COZI. I’m already loving this app to help me stay organized. You can share grocery lists, calendars & to do lists. Something that is extremely helpful for my family. Especially the calendar feature, now I don’t have to worry when I forget to write something on our kitchen calendar. Oh ya, don’t make fun of our house name *lol*
To celebrate the end of Summer and back to school time, I’m giving away a T-Mobile HTC 4G ONE S phone. Ohhh ya, you read that right! Want to see the phone? Check it out here: http://htc.t-mobile.com/one/s-4g-phone
