Recently, I went to Safeway to take advantage of a great deal they have with You can earn 2 free movie tickets now through June 30th when you spend at least $40 on select Dairy products to the new Ice Age movie (or another movie of your choice). I like to get all of my shopping done in one day instead of throughout the month but you can take advantage of this deal by accumulating all month long! I took along my little helper and we set off to find some of our favorite items.

I guess the almost 8 year old is not to old to ride in the cart! While he sits, I scope out the deals in the ad to see which items are on sale.

After buying a few of my favorite goodies like Fage yogurt, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Simply Lemonade and more, we are on our way home with our two free movie tickets!

The next day, I made some delicious treats with our dairy products, Cheesecake Push Pops! I have no idea why but I have been craving cheesecake and then I remembered I had these push pops, I tried to squish all of my ideas into these cute little pops, luckily it worked! My kids loved them too and they were perfect portion sizes.

No Bake Cheese Cake:

Cheesecake Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of liquid heavy cream (not beaten)
  • 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla

Mix the whipping cream with mixer for approx 4 minutes on med-high until fluffy with peaks. Cut in cream cheese and turn mixer on low slowly adding the rest of the ingredients. Mix on medium for approx 1 minute. Set in refrigerator until ready.

Strawberry layer:

  • Sliced Strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Place sliced strawberries in bowl and cover with sugar, mix thoroughly and let sit in the fridge until you are ready to use them. This prevents them from wilting.

  • 1/2 cup of crushed graham crackers
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar

Crush the graham crackers in a food processor, then pour 1/2 cup in a bowl. Mix melted butter with brown sugar. You can see in photo too that it doesn’t quite stick all together but it becomes more dense. Set aside.

Filling the Push Pops

It helps if you have a stand of sorts, you can see I used a mason jar to hold each one as I filled them.

Fill a pastry bag with the cheesecake filling while it’s folded over your hand. If you can, tie the top once done to prevent it from over flowing.

Fill the bottom of the first push pop with the crust, pat down as much as possible. Take the pastry bag and carefully stay in one place and squeeze the filling out approx 1.5 inches.

Once the filling is in, top with the strawberries and garnish with whip cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve!

I’m not not trying to brag or anything but this filling I created was delicious! You could easily use it as a fruit dip by itself! If you don’t have push pops, serve as a trifle and add a layer of whipped cream in the middle! A lot of people ask me where I got these push pops, I bought them from a friend but I know if you go on sites like Etsy you can find some for a reasonable price!
