It’s December 1st, let the Advent begin! I usually buy my kids Advent calendars but this year, I made one myself!
Time: 2 – 2.5 hours
Supplies:
Wrapping Paper
Scissors
Marker/Pen
Candies or items to put inside
Sewing Machine
I took old wrapping paper and folded into eighths.
I free handedly drew a stocking shape, an ornament shape and a present shape.
I cut out the shapes at once, then repeated the steps so I had enough with a few leftovers since I messed up once or twice.
Next, I wrote on each one a number from 1 to 24.
Then I took them to my sewing machine, matching the edges so I was sewing the back of the wraping paper and sewed an outside seam on 3 sides, then stuffed the candies inside.
I finished the seam and then trimmed the edges. Done!
Merry Christmas!
